Dan Kruger, CEO
Dan is the chairman of the board of directors and serves as CEO, a position he has held since founding the company in 2008. He spent 20 years consulting to large and medium businesses on teamwork, communication, business and technology strategy, and software enabled collaboration. Dan was the founding CEO of Construction News Service (now iSqFt), a Web-based pre-construction management service for large-scale commercial construction, and the CEO of Workplace Architects, the leading provider of drag, drop and configure application development webparts for Microsoft SharePoint. Dan later sold Workplace Architects to Quest Software and managed the sales and development of the product globally.
Mitch Tanenbaum, CTO
Mitch is the chief technical officer at Absio. He spent 16 years at Texas Instruments in several roles including designing real-time command and control software; creating a large-scale distributed computing environment composed of thousands of mainframe, mini-computer and specialized test systems to support TI's entire Defense Systems engineering community; and heading up the TI Defense Systems Information Security program. Mitch was also a principal in a boutique information systems and organizational development consulting firm. Prior to joining Absio, Mitch was the chief technical officer for Mercury Companies, the largest privately owned real estate services company in the western United States. Mitch received his bachelor's and master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
Tim Anschutz, CMO
Tim is the chief marketing officer at Absio. He has more than 20 years of sales and marketing management experience with a Fortune 500 consumer goods company and B2B software companies. Tim spent 10 years at one of the largest consumer beverage companies in the U.S. and was responsible for numerous sales and marketing roles during his tenure. As National Accounts Manager, he was responsible for revenue and margin enhancement for some of the largest retailers in the United States (i.e., Wal-Mart/Sam's Club). As the U.S. sales and marketing development manager, he served as a single source corporate liaison for all U.S. business units with marketing, sales, finance, IT, production, PR, pricing and ad agencies. This included responsibility for corporate marketing and field sales strategies for all new U.S. package and brand introductions; national consumer sales program execution; and sales force training for more than 6,200 corporate and distributor network sales personnel. For the 12 years prior to joining Absio, Tim was Vice President of Marketing and Channel Sales for a national B2B financial software company and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a national medical device consulting firm, both serving clients in an SAAS environment. Tim holds an executive MBA from the University of Colorado and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Colorado State University.
Juan Morris, Director - Software Development
Juan leads the software development efforts at Absio. He has 12 years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-level and globally scalable real-time command and control systems (C2). Juan's areas of expertise include development on various operating system platforms, distributed system design, parallel network design and multi-tiered application implementations. Previously Juan was director of education for partnering organizations related to system engineering particulars and design, including GEInfrastructure, GESecurity, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. He has served as project manager and team leader for numerous regional, national and international security integration projects for Homeland Security initiatives and foreign security policies. He has also served as a U.S. naval submariner with training in nuclear power engineering, a naval engineering QA/QC coordinator and a naval 3M program coordinator (maintenance and material management), and is the recipient of letters of recognition for exceptional performance and commitment.
Jim Hanson, Director – Business Development
Jim is director of business development at Absio. He served as a technical controller in the U.S. Army before volunteering for Special Forces. He conducted multiple overseas deployments including permanent tours of three years in Europe and three years in Asia before taking early retirement. Jim then worked in executive search, hiring high-level talent in the technology and defense industries. Jim co-founded a successful new media company, SOG Media, providing original content about the military and national security issues. He has appeared as a military analyst on CNN, FOX News and MSNBC, and is a contributor to The Washington Times and Big Peace.
